Adele enjoys training under 6's & under 8's, Juveniles then up to her Juniors & Adults.
Dancing for fun or taking part in events such as ISTD / friendly competitions & ISTD Examinations.
Adele's first love is Ballroom and Latin dancing but also is accomplished in Classical and sequence dancing. Along with teaching wedding couples their 1st dance. Then introducing her Funky fit classes to encourage fitness, wellbeing and confidence in 2020.

After teaching and helping to run a school for 15 + years along side her teacher/mentor Nigel Bradshaw at Dancezone. Adele Hooper AISTD opens her own school, 28 years after she first started dancing.
Adele started dancing at the age of 3 at Anglo she then moved to Dancezone at 11 years old. She worked her way up through the children's classes. Under 6 & 8, Juvenile ranks, Junior and Adult examinations, taking all her Medals up to Awards and competing in Area Medal Festivals. With great memories of whole dance school coach trips to competitions. At 15 years old Adele spent her work experience working with her teacher, helping with one to one lessons, children's & adults classes. The high point of her competitive career was receiving Bronze medal at the Blackpool National Grand Finals in the U35 Awards event. Adele also loved competing in a French dance exchange competition collaborating with local Bournemouth schools also winning with her dance partner at the time.
After such great experiences she started studying hard for her Student Teacher exam, gaining this qualification in 2011. She took her full Associate Ballroom exam in 2012, upon completing her full Latin Associate modules in 2023 she is looking forward to continuing her studies to take higher teaching qualifications. At the end of 2019 Adele competed in the UK's 1st Equality Dance Open competition in the A-Class events. with her teacher/mentor Nigel Bradshaw. This was also filmed by the BBC which featured in BBC's Inside Out (south) on 20/01/2020 along with fellow dancers. In February 2020 Adele & Emily Watts competed in the Pink Jukebox Trophy competition held at the beautiful Rivoli Ballroom in London, taking home 1st place in the C-class Ballroom. During 2020/2021 Adele also came up with some creative ways to dance with her pupils especially the Diddy Dancers by using props. And encouraged her students to forget the worries of the outside world during lessons.
Also holds an NVQ 2 & 3 in Childcare with SEN experience & Safeguarding training. Adele is on the DBS update service and holds an up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate. Adele takes children's classes, DofE students from the local area. Also working with Adults to learn Ballroom and Latin dancing, Wedding couples for their 1st dance or Funky Fit classes. She’s got a great rapport with her pupils and has the patience of a saint!
What I have been up to recently...
From September 2023 Adele has joined forces with Rhythm & Dance freelancing in West Moors on a Wednesday & Thursday where Adele teaches 121 lessons, children's class & new 4 week courses for beginners & improvers. Adele also helps out with a U3A group every 3 weeks on a Wednesday morning at Cole Hill in Wimborne.
2024 Adele graduated along with 100's of other ISTD teachers in London, this was a great achievement as when Adele was studying for her first teaching exam back when she was in her late teens graduating wasn't an option. Now Adele is propelled into her next teaching exams: Line dancing and then Classical old time, then planning to take the higher teaching exams in Ballroom & Latin. With Adele's new found passion for line dancing she is starting her own beginner classes, along side studying for her next teaching exam.
